Ever wondered what it would be like to hire an eBike? Feeling the wind on your face as you cruise the rail trails or the city streets, enjoying the fresh air and healthy vibe that comes from active outdoor pursuits – without the exhaustion or physical pain! Exploring NZ via Te Araroa? When coming past Wanganui on our stunning Te Araroa trail, why not take a break and see our city from the comfort of your own electric bike?

We have helmets available at no extra charge, or feel free to bring your own.
We offer rear mount child seats (& helmets) for our bike hires, these are suitable for children aged 1-7yrs, with a weight limit of 22kg.
Please note that the MINUMUM age for a bike hire is 13yrs, and they must be accompanied by an adult 18yrs or older.
We now offer a BuddyRider for our bike hires too!

We hire out bikes from the Evinci range as shown below. They are easy to operate and are super comfy to ride.

DESTINATIONS
Wondering where to go on your eBike trip? Here is a few ideas:
The Citadel – 8km from here down along the scenic Whanganui river shared pathway. Have one of the best burgers for lunch or meet some friends for coffee
Upokongaro Cycle Bridge – 12km from here up along the scenic Whanganui river shared pathway. Why not stop in at Avoca Hotel Beer Garden for refreshments, or Behind the Door on 4 cafe for brunch or lunch?
Kai Iwi / Mowhanau Beach – 18km from here along semi-rural road to arguably Wanganui’s best beach. Stop for an ice cream at the local store or grab some hot chips at Sea Dogs Galley
